I tried to install that flag in vinyl and it did not go well. I ended up with an American flag, rolled up into a sticky ball and into the garbage. I am looking for printed PPF that is easier to apply.
We don't offer a printed PPF, and I don't know of any companies that are offering a printable PPF as of this time. Our process is printing on vinyl and then laminating with PPF. Are you wanting a PPF film because you want a wet-install film for ease of repositioning? If that's the case, we can also print on wet-install vinyl with a PPF laminate! Typically we don't use wet install on vehicles due to it not conforming around curves, but on the CT that's not a concern
Yep! What would the cost be on a wet install gloss film? If possible, could you leave the very top section for the entire angled part the tailgate where the FOUNDATION SERIES is written, NOT printed, just pain clear. It is about 1 inch. If the flag would only be on the flat part, it would be the place to peel and be subject to rubbing from open and closing the tailgate and general wear and tear, yesterday I used the tailgate as a work bench for making a base for a 900lb air compressor. This truck is not a garage queen.Are you wanting a PPF film because you want a wet-install film for ease of repositioning?
