This is kind of a "duh" moment, but I just realized that the tonneau buttons act just like the window buttons. Light press for partial moves, press deeper for the second click to fully open or close.

I've just been a little confused by them a few times until I really paid attention to what the buttons were doing. I thought it was about how long you pressed it, vs feeling for the second click.

Hope it helps some of you!

Cheers!

This had me confused for the longest time, I tried a quick double press to open it all the way, and sometimes it would work, of course, didn't realize one of the presses was just harder. Eventually I figured it out, but months later.

The lack of clicky tactility (80's bad name?) makes it less intuitive.

Thank you! I was still trying to figure this out. I also only recently learned I could swipe left on the music display to replace it with trip info and tire pressure. We should start a "Tip of the Day" thread so people can share these tips to the rest of us who are incapable of reading the manual.

One tip, for those not willing to read the manual, would be to check out the Tesla video guides. These explain many features of the Cybertruck and are good quick hits of information.
