Dome Light Brightness

Hi All,

Another concern: My front dome light is inop. No big deal, I've got a service appointment and I'm sure they will fix it. My question:

When you select "AUTO" for the dome light, do the back lights come on dim when you open the door? Mine are quite dim until I select "ON" in the menu, and then they come on full bright. Is this normal? Is there a way to select full bright when you open the door and then have them go out when you close?

New question: Did they fix your light?? If so, What lights up when opening your door???

Mine was in service yesterday to replace the headliner which included the light bar. The old unit, the light bar lit up entirely when the door was open. Now (New) it is only the corners aka Map light that work. Service Advisor told me this how the new bar operates. I don't like it at all
