Lost in all the virus news is the oil price wars going on. This is all too complex for me to understand. But if Saudi Arabia controls the oil market it seems that locally produced power is more important than ever.
US still produces a TON of oil. I think Texas was projected to be #6 in the world if it was a country. Also Saudi Aramco produces a ton of oil in the US as Motiva. Biggest Refinery in the US is just to the East of Houston, owned by Motiva/Saudi Aramco. All that to say im sick of relying on oil both foreign and domestic! I want to just produce my own power. ???

You'll get sicker with the fact that our troops with their lives on the line and our taxes are paying to patrol the Gulf for the smooth passage of Middle Eastern oil to the rest of the world.

Specially now that with resolve (politics and oil interest on the way) and tech, we can achieve energy independence. Oil and gas industry can't seem to accept the writing on the wall of peak demand and moving into transition phase.
