Haha. “Just happen to be passing…”

Funny... stop teasing him, I used to know how he feel.

Anyway, I will be dropping off my CT back to the shop for them to fix my door trim piece and a couple minor scratches found at time of delivery. I looked a bit closer once I got home, someone at Tesla definitely tried to jam that door trim piece together with the front fender piece ... I see a slight tear on the plastic seal behind that trim piece and the very leading edge of the front windshield might have been chipped (less than 1/5 of a penny size) due to that force, or it was just some extra glue got stuck there. Not sure, but the advisor called me 1 day after I set up a service request via the app. Next available appointment at Tesla-Princeton is 2 weeks later! ? not feel like driving to Springfield or Cherry Hill.

Will keep you all posted.

Not a tease at all. He’s closer than I am. Still don’t have vin myself, so I am happy for him, maybe even jealous. I would totally be the guy in that picture if I had a VIN myself

I also visited Lawrence today, they couldn’t give me a specific location on my CT. He said that the truck is in transit from Texas to the NJ rail yard. I told him I heard there were CT’s stuck in the Chicago rail yard for sometime and if mine was there. All I got was it’s still in transit and that it could have taken a different route with no location available. Such bull shit. He had no idea when it might arrive. Got my VIN March 23 they had me complete all the tasks in the app including payment and now it’s crickets from them.

Evening my NJ CT friends,
So I had to call Tesla today as the assigned PowerShare installer declined to do my install. Another installer that I emailed for a quote said that they can not quote an install assigned to another company, and that the project would have to be reassigned to them before they could send me a quote. WTF.
So while I had the Tesla rep on the phone, I asked him about the whereabouts of my CT. He now said that it is IN Transit to Cherry Hill. Couldn’t tell me when my CT left the outbound lot or when it should arrive in NJ. Google says 3-5 days for over the road transport. So I’m probably in the same boat as Sam (scohen2002),
with a delivery the end of next week or the week after. Gettin closer.
Need to try and contact the other NJ guys who already took delivery of their CTs about the May 4th meet up, to make them aware. I’m sure they are too busy enjoying their CT to visit the forum now.
Can’t blame them. My update for the day.

I wonder if the other SC’s would post a note about the meet up; Paramus & Princeton.

I’m planning to move in 3-4 years so I decided not to bother with the PowerShare. I have had a 100 amp sub panel in my garage with only one 60amp breaker for the wall charger I’ve had for my model 3 since 2019. I now added a second 60amp breaker and second wall charger for the Cybertruck.

I would speculate yours is traveling the identical route as mine. My sales rep said that was rail from Texas to Chicago and then rail from Chicago to “north Jersey”. Then truck from there to each delivery center location in and around ny/nj etc.

Are the 2 wall chargers communicating to share load? If they run 48amps each continuous, that would be 96amps continuous on a 100amp breaker. Might to too high, not sure

yes I configured the load share and told them they had a total of 80 amps to share. Plus the model 3 has always be set via the car to charge at 10pm I’ll set the truck for 2am.

GM Sam, I hope my CT is in transit via car carrier and not rail. I think faster and more direct by carrier, and non that rail rust dust to contend with. But who the hell knows. I’m sure someone at Tesla does, but good luck finding that person or getting the real information. Looks like a race between you and I on who gets theirs first. You deserve to get your CT first, of course. I doubt Tesla would ship these NJ bound CTs via different methods, but it’s possible. My VIN is in the 5400 series, what was yours?
We’re gettin close.

I was 5500 series. And yes I think it would be very odd if yours came by truck the entire way to nj and mine came by rail the entire way to nj but who knows. It’s not a race at this point or deserve more kind of thing, we are both winning :).
