It’s absolutely a good thing. Now what will be interesting is if he buys another… I know I would not based on all the problems I’ve had with my CT, including the never functioning powershare system that almost burnt down my house.

I have a perfectly functioning PowerShare system. Upgraded to 400A service. Nothing too serious with repairs but to get out from being underwater would be magically delicious.
Not having lane keep assist in CT is weak as hell. I’m driving my model 3 performance loving that feature as I type this.

Seriously…massive oversight on the part of Tesla. It’s embarrassingly bad.

So….back to the free wheel caps. These have become my go-to way to protect the hub from dirt when off-roading. They are quite resilient.
I have several other options I’m happier with cosmetically, but if yours are just sitting in the box in the garage, I submit this is a great use for them.
