Hey guys,

I had a great meetup with @Qixer01 yesterday and he graciously allowed me to ride along in his Beast; so thank you, kind sir! I've had my dual motor since October, and it's certainly the fastest accelerating vehicle I've ever owned.

For the longest time I assumed that everyone who wanted a Beast was looking for a fast truck. until now... Nope. You guys obviously purchased a street legal rollercoaster šŸ˜†. Having said that, and jokes aside, I would advise all of you to ask each potential passenger if they have any cardiovascular issues that may prevent them from riding extreme rides at a theme park. I knew the pull was going to be amazing, but what I didn't count on was that it was actually going to be strong enough to potentially trigger syncope in folks with medical conditions!

What an absolute thrill, you guys are so lucky!

Also, here is a video of the entire backseat of an SUV of what looked like young teenage girls waving at my truck on my way home that same day. I haven't seen a middle finger in a few months now, but I have seen a sharp increase in people smiling and waving:

(they were waving all the way from the exit ramp too lol)

Your more than welcome. I enjoy showing it off. People have no idea until they experience it. Never thought about the medical aspect.
looking forward to the next meet up. Maybe we can get a couple more CT lined up at the mills!!

That is incredible. May I ask about the screenshot you posted?
Data is from a Dragy GPS unit I mounted on my windshield. The Beast did a 2.54s 0-60 and a 6.89s 1/8 mile at 99.68 mph on a prepped drag strip.

Hopefully CT hate is winding down now since Elon is away from politics
I hope he doesn't stop participating, people in the know have realized our system of government has been broken and getting worse for a long time. We need better options and a new path.

If people disagree, that is their right. But they need to control their emotions and offer solutions of their own. There is nothing wrong with participating in politics to create a better future. More people should do it.

A few years back I gave a ride to my 80-something year old next door neighbor in my 2018 Model 3 Performance. She is a feisty, skinny woman who has always valued hard work and fun. Over the years her and her husband have become multi-millionaires through hard work and productivity, the old formula of making more than you spend and living well within your means while investing the rest. She told me she likes to drive her Subaru wagon fast, it's just in her "country girl" nature.

On an empty street, without advance warning, I looked over at her to make sure her spine was straight and her head centered on the headrest and floored it. She was glued into her seat for the two seconds I held the pedal to the floor. When I let up she started laughing as she had never felt a car so fast. She wouldn't stop talking about how fast it was, even days later when I saw her in her yard she would re-live it, she kept saying "zoom-zoom!". She said she would want one but she can't have it, it would get her in speeding ticket jail.

In hindsight, I suppose, at her advanced age, I should have asked if it was OK to floor it but she seemed like a vigorous old woman so I didn't bother. Fortunately, it didn't give her a heart attack or cause her to pass out! The Cyberbeast just takes it to another level.

I always warn my passenger to put their head back.

The funny thing is, all the people I have shared the CB experience with (riding or driving) have seemed like they truly enjoyed it. However, the vast majority have said to the effect "I would get a hybrid before I get an EV". "I don't think I could learn how to drive the Tesla" Truly breaks my brain. I do explain all the unbelievable benefits of the Tesla brain that is included in every Tesla vehicle default and the safety and the ease of charging and the constant improvements via SW updates OTA.

I'm not trying to sell high priced Tesla vehicles to them. I share the prices of the Y and 3's.

There is just a vast gulf of cognitive inflexibility that they cannot broach. These are not dumb people, but they cannot pull their heads out.

People will get there. It’s the transition to smart phones all over again. At first people were like ā€œI have a cell and a laptop, what do I need an iPhone for?ā€ Now homeless people have them.

Actually I don't think it actually wil lol, since people will rapidly abandon manual driving and private vehicle ownership once we see in practice how the robotaxi network will dominate.

Insurance is going to skyrocket for individuals. I'd say definitely less than 8 years from now. So the getting is as good as is going to be 😁

For some people it will definitely work to no longer own a car, maybe even most, but private ownership will remain a thing for many people forever. I know someone with 5 kids under eight years old. That’s 5 car seats. She isn’t Robotaxi-ing them to Chuck-e-cheese and paying for that car to sit there for 2-3 hours.

I need a bunch of gear for my job. Takes me 2 or 3 trips to move it all into my work car when I get there. I’m not hauling it all inside the building first to clock in and check out my work keys.

Construction workers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC guys, etc.

But yes, for most people who don’t need much more than a briefcase and a coffee mug for work, letting a car go could make great sense.

Brother, large families won't take a 2 seater taxi, they will reserve the Robovan lol. And you don't hold your taxi if you plan to be at the location for more than 5 mins. Trust me when I say people will drop individual ownership like a hot potato when insurance skyrockets (and it will). Insurance companies are hedge firms that specialize in risk statistics. And there is no riskier entity than us stupid humans.

Surely all individual ownership won't cease, but the market will flip upside-down seemingly overnight. It's going to be truly astonishing to see happen!
