I have a CT , living in Palm Beach County looking for tow hook coversHey all. Saw this thread and wanted to drop by here. I make tow hook covers for F-150’s (I’m a Lightning owner). I have made many for members on the f-150 Lightning forum, and recently opened an Etsy shop. I have nothing for you yet, but a request. I was contacted by a CT owner recently who asked about covers for his truck. I offered that I could design them up with some images and measurements. I haven’t heard back. I thought I’d reach out here to see if anyone would like to be helpful by getting me images and dimensions from your truck of the front tow hooks, since I do not have access to them. Then I can send you some prototypes to try out so we can make adjustments. Bonus points if you are in Florida or close. Sorry, spent a lot of time and money developing these, since I worked with owners to ship back and forth. I used to share my models with a no commercial use license, and yet I have found just about every one of them for sale. Already been knocked off by one of my customers who bought a set and must have used them to either scan or dupe the design, then stole my listing images from Etsy. At least I got them to take those down. Long story short, I’d love to share my models, but there is too much risk. I’d be happy to offer you or anyone else on here a discount if you want to message me!
Sorry people are jerks with your stl files. I was just being lazy (trying to save myself some design time in fusion). I already had red TPU in my 3D printer from another project and was going to just print them. If no one has the STL yet I will spend the time and design them. I understand the time it takes to create these.
Will probably be much quicker for you to develop with access to the truck! It’s a shame that a few people can ruin things for the whole community. Thanks for understanding!
