This was happening with my HW3 model S on my daily commute to work to the point where I had to stop using it (it has lifetime FSD). I just got a 2026 CB last month and it was doing fine until today it kept repeatedly going into hov/carpool lane in hurry mode when I explicitly chose the menu option for no carpool. I had to put in standard to keep it out of the carpool lane. How do I properly fix this? I took my model S to service for the carpool FSD issue and they said they can’t do anything unless I have timestamps, and I can try submitting a formal request on Tesla.com.

Do you guys by chance have stuff sitting on other seats in your car? I ask this because that’s how I think it knows if you are or are not allowed to use it…the occupancy sensors. Mine used to do this all the time but I think it was 14.3.1 that fixed it.

Just a backpack in the back seat.
