FSD Now vs 6 Months Ago (Poll)

Did Cybertruck FSD reach its pinnacle around Christmas 2024, or is it currently better?

Hey guys, with all the talk about FSD sucking compared to 6 months ago, I am curious just how wide-spread the issues are.

To refresh your memory, around Christmas 2024 we still had the old version of steering, they appeared to have just solved the problem with the car running red lights, but there was also a problem with the keycards no longer working. It was after this period that many people started talking about FSD taking "2 steps back" and talks of it driving on the rumble strips, etc.

Let's hear your thoughts...

It feels about the same, GREAT for highway as a SUPER Cruise Control
Around town and on county roads, you had better pay attention, especially if there is something in the road (tire, box, etc)

It's the same major and minor version, there have only been bug fixes. I will say it's been a bit better, but nothing major as the releases show.

I’m surprised to see people saying FSD isn’t good outside of highways or rural roads. I’ve used it going into and around Boston, and it’s been perfect.

Yes, I do have to disengage to avoid potholes (which are everywhere in and around Boston).

Well, i bit the bullet and did my first update in 6 months today. Definitely seems like a step backwards. I hope v14 is coming soon..

It has a few nice improvements since Christmas, but most of them were non-FSD improvements and the FSD improvements have not been all that significant, so I had to vote "About the Same".

Our two Model 3 Performances are both more refined, one with hardware 3 and one with hardware 4. But we are really nit-picking small differences considering they all work really well 99.9% of the time.

I do feel like the last version or two have gotten worse in strange ways. It feels like they added synthetic data for something (NTSA stops?) that make it feel much less smooth at stops. It also feels like something changed related to the interface between the Nav system and FSD, because it now feels like they aren't talking to each other sometimes. Like the Nav will say take a left 50' up the road, and FSD will turn into the wrong parking lot.
