How do I learn to send destinations to the Tesla? Is it in an app?
I now use the Voice Commands exclusively if I can "Navigate to Home"..."Navigate to Whataburger", etc.. I also use the Tesla App with "Location" and put in destinations at the top and you can send it to the truck/car. I use this to plan and review trips. Someone mentioned sending destinations from Google and Apple maps, I do not know how to do that.

Sounds like you could rename the truck Michael Keaton from the movie multiplicity! Every copy down stream is closer to the short bus syndrome😸
Mine will not hold speed on long stretches of low traffic roads, like it is sightseeing!
HA! Yes! Speaking of sight-seeing... gives me a idea. We need "Tortoise Mode" where FSD would drive at a slow speed (you select the slow speed) until it detects a vehicle coming behind you, in which case it would speed up to the speed limit, then once the car passes you, it would slow back down to the set slow speed. Would be nice to just enjoy the beautiful countryside on lazy days!

Love it but in my case it’s the guys coming up from behind you at extreme speeds that would end the sightseeing fun!

All you need to do is put a destination in Google or Apple Maps like you are navigating there, then click the share button and choose the Tesla App. It will then send the destination to your CT.

I won’t buy another vehicle without FSD. People don’t know what they’re missing and that is fine. But once you experience the ease of use and relaxation it offers, you won’t go without it.

I really like the hummer EV and other vehicles but doesn’t have FSD so it’s a deal breaker.

I use it 99% of the time. Street driving is still the weak point and a little clunky. Highway is very good especially on long trips.

Same situation with my other Teslas. The street driving is where the mistakes and hesitations are. Highway they perform very well. Makes sense that streets are harder. One day they will smooth that out.

yeah it's really hard to go non Tesla if you like fsd. feels like a rip off buying a different car brand lol

I love that you have a Cyberbeast and want the Tortoise Mode! I just found out my max speed has been 82 mph (from Teslafi) and this was on FSD Standard! (I've only used Hurry for about 30 seconds and it was like driving with a NYC Taxi driver.) There are quite a few times I'm in no rush and would prefer a constant 63-67 in a 70. But I have to say, I feel that driving a CT below the speed limit is an oxymoron. I think FSD agrees as well (as it speeds allllll the time).

I’m going to try that! That’s handy because anyone could send to your truck, I like it. Thanks.

Right!!! I've not been to Miami in many years, but even back then, I think "Tortoise Mode" was like 95MPH, right??? AHAHAHAHAH!!!

Great on the highway, if you are lucky enough to have one with decent lane centering.
In town.................not so much.

FSD was an amazing surprise as I started with VS 13.2.8 in my CT as my first experience with it. I use it almost exclusively for getting around! But what has been your experience? Trust it? Enjoy it? Nervous with it?
I never EVEN THOUGHT about how much I hated MANUALLY driving, until I FSD was finally activated in my Foundation Cybertruck. When UNsupervised FSD eventually becomes safe to start by mental telepathy ... I will be using it 110 percent of the time.

Just curious how does it handle school zones especially during the school day and only selected times for slowing down. What does it do if a school bus is coming and you are not paying attention? Here in Liberty Hill TX for passing a school bus it is a minumun $600 fine and no way to contest it. The cops are always there watching over the kids on the main roads. I got no issue with the police either as they are doing it for the children's safety as we had a child get hit by a passing car that I guess was in a hurry maybe.

What about ambulances and firetrucks does it hear the horn blasting and lights on? Will the CT pull over if the emergency vehicles are going in your direction?

I do not have any Telsa so no FSD but if I did I still would not use it. I have driven for 48 years and just do not see the need in my case and honestly I worry just a small bit about Telsa's when I am near them now. Sometimes they do a bit of strip hugging and then veer over back to the center of the lane. If I had a choice I would have a light or some sort of way for knowing that someone is using it on their vehicle.

Be safe, be careful, and enjoy your CyberTruck :)

At the moment, FSD does not appear to identify emergency vehicles nor school buses. I take over when I see them.

The "word on the street" is that Mobileye owns a number of patents relating to reading street signs, and therefore Tesla is somewhat limited in reacting to signage. I've never seen FSD react to school zones and the like.

I presume both of these things must be addressed before the Robotaxi goes live.

I cannot express the joy I feel when watching my vehicle autonomously navigate the streets. I don't "need" FSD but it's very useful at reducing the stress of driving, particularly longer trips.

I also take over in school zones. As for emergency vehicles, on a night drive from University of Alabama to Nashville, the CT suddenly slowed down ~20mph, and behind me was a cop going 100+ with blues flashing. I’ve never seen this behavior during the day with fire trucks and ambulances. I took over as I was NOT about to experiment then with FSD. Then 5 minutes down the road there were 5 cop cars and and overturned 18 wheeler in the median and the CT slowed down again, even though I was the only car moving in my lane and only one cop car on my side of highway. I do not know what the standard response is for MSXY, but this my one experience.
