Left the CT at home for the road trip. FSD and free supercharging made it a no-brainer. Give me at least one.

Edit add. 5k worth of trip. Half off grid sun charging.

I don’t know about you but for me adaptive cruise works like this:
Aggressively hits the breaks for about 30% of the semi’s coming towards me,
Tries to stop at the same place for months that there hasn’t been a stop sign for years,
Continually slows down for cars in the turn lane that are not a threat,
The list goes on.
Until FSD I would like just plain cruise control without traffic awareness.
.... and maybe a basic garage door opener for a $100K+ vehicle

Seriously, we will be lucky to get FSD in October at this rate.

Frustrating that it didn’t even ship with basic autopilot stuff. Tesla is a trillion dollar company and it takes a year to roll the current software in a new car of theirs…
Well we keep paying for features and stuff that doesn’t exist. We have to stop doing that and they will change. Imagine if you told people you were going to build something and they just handed you money ??‍♂ 3-4 years later you produce something after making millions. Why not keep doing it.

I wonder what exactly do they mean by Park Assist? It’s our first Tesla.
Does that mean you identify the space and it parks it for you? Or you drive and it identifies a space (our Volvo did that sort of; but in my opinion it didn’t work all that well, and took way too long) and tells you to put it in a particular gear and keep your foot on the brake or gas when it tells you?

Might be worth its own thread in either the Road Trip or Charging sub forums.... but that's a lot of miles pulling juice directly out of the sun. Would love to hear what gear you're carrying to accomplish that.

Honestly, I don't miss FSD much. CT is fun to drive every time, every day. FSD will release when the time is right. Enjoy driving till then.
Tesla Cybertruck FSD update: September release for Cybertruck. Parking assistance features release coming this week! giphy
