It’s got cruise control just not with lane assist. Maybe with this parking sensor updates it’ll be able to register lane lines so we’ll have advanced autopilot. But that’s prob wishful thinking lol.
Lane boundaries are showing up as faint gray lines now. Useful, but obviously I'd like the FSD!

You must have forgotten what FS was supposed to include. Everyone who paid for a FS paid for FSD you could not remove it as an option. Let me refresh your memory on the stuff you did not get. Along with the voucher that’s worthless because nothing is ever in stock and you can only use it once ☺

Last time I checked when you pay for something you shouldn’t be satisfied with not getting it.

I don't know what happened on early deliveries, but recently, you have to acknowledge that certain features and sensors may not be implemented. this is the first screen you have to accept before taking delivery. Not sure of the exact wording but obviously it was written by lawyers and FSD was on their minds, maybe other things too.

This is why Cybertruck can fit in such a small parallel parking space. Two tricks compared to a car lacking rear-steer:

1) Back in at a greater angle to the curb.

2) Back closer to the curb before cranking the front in.

The more you do of #1, the less you will do of #2.

Yes, it's different, no, it's not any harder once you get the hang of it. It's actually easier because it turns away from the curb more sharply
I got that part, but I'm an urban cowboy LOL. Not hitting the car in front and in back in a tight city parking space is what's killing me. I'm good at that in the S and was good at it in the F-150. The Cybetruck's got way more ass than front and it's hard getting used to without reliable front visual cues. The side mirrors are good, the rear camera is fine. The others distort reality. I know I can trust the lines on the display in the S 100%, the Cybertruck not. I am expecting this to get resolved when they deliver parking assist features, perfect will be when it just does the whole job itself.

Hahaha I wish!! But I have been thinking of getting a similar wrap. Idk how well it would fare being that I live in Chicago ?
You would be quickly performing impromptu live testing of the 9mm resistance rating...

Fun fact: the shot spotters were field tested in Chicago before they started deploying them in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I just go by the seat of my pants, which is the same way I parallel park every car I've ever driven. I look at the lines on the backup camera screen, but I don't go by them because I know they change as I change the steering angle. Back in at a steep angle not too far away from the car parked in front. Before you get good at it you need to have a good idea of where the front of the Cybertruck ends. This can be developed when you are using pull forward parking, especially spots that have you pull forward to a sign or wall. Pull as far forward as you think you can without bumping the sign or the wall, then turn on your front camera and be amazed that you still have two more feet! I learned this off-roading when I was pulling forward and backing into trees.

My guess is you're over-thinking it and the front of the truck is probably shorter than you think. Just stuff it in there and, if it doesn't work, do it again. You can't curb the rims so there is not a lot to worry about.

The Cybertruck turns regular curbs into mere bumps, so just make sure you are not so unaware that you roll over the curb and flatten pedestrians on the sidewalk! ?

After trying out FSD for the first time in a M3P I CANNOT wait to get it in my CB. I know a lot of users here have already been using it on their other vehicles for a while but man it completely blew me away. I can already tell I’m gonna be taking full advantage of it when it’s finally released.

Honestly, I don't miss FSD much. CT is fun to drive every time, every day. FSD will release when the time is right. Enjoy driving till then.
after 1400 miles of driving so far the strip FSD would’ve been nice. It is nice to drive but FSD is pretty nice too.

Hard to park? If you think so, you aren’t ready to drive any truck.

I am getting better and better at parking the CT, I back in with that bad boy and have nailed it several times now.

Distance measuring is so easy with the CT, follow the line of the back bumper. Stop just before its at the area of contact = all good!

Its the 4 wheel turning that makes the CT parking "interesting". It simply doesn't react like a truck. haha!
Backing a trailer with the CT is a dream. No hood and instant trailer reaction thanks to articulating rear wheels.

I'll remain cautiously optimistic.
When I got my first Tesla in 2016 Autosteer was not available due to one fatal accident. We all waited until the updated version had been tested. So for 3 months I drove the car waiting anxiously. First they let us drive on streets at a limited speed. It took months before it provided a decent relief at the wheel. Be patient. It will come and it will be wonderful.

The front of the truck is definitely shorter than I think it is, shorter than anything I've driven since an original VW Bus, but I am not enjoying testing on cars in front of me. The front-facing cameras do not help orient the left and right corners like the rear camera plus side mirrors do in back where I can see the ends of the bed.

There seems to be a faint color highlight from yellow to red in the driving animation pane as you get very close, but it's not intense enough and you have to be already too close for it to be very useful. I am guessing that is going to become much improved when they get things working. As it is the animations of the cars in front and back jump around too much for any confidence.
