An the past week I have noticed that my Cyberbeast while on FSD is doing some rather strange behavior. When it encounters skid marks or burnout marks on the roads it does a rather aggressive swerve to avoid them. I have also had it swerve rather hard when a car floor mat was also on the street. I cannot recall this occurring at anytime in the past 6 months or so but now has occurred 3 or 4 times in just my past 2 or 3 trips. Is anyone else encountering this issue and if so is it a more recent behavior as it has been for me?

My CT did this one time on 13.2.8, on an empty road with no one around to avoid some newly paved over pot holes. Send me off the road to the rumble strips. I thought for sure it was just messing with me to make sure I was "supervising" it still. It scared the ba-jeezes out of me. my passenger (daughter) said, "Bruh, you'd have kicked me out of the driver seat if I did that." It only did it once and I thought perhaps it was the issue with off gassing/ clarity of the windshield where the cameras are. I was going to ask the SC to clean it but my CT has other bigger issues right now.

But, my loaner is on FSD 12.6.4 and just yesterday it swerved around skid marks on the road- like all the way out to the rumble strips before I could correct it back (less than 1 second at 70 mph). Coincidence?

yeah it’s just odd that this behavior seems rather new for me in the past week or so. It’s never once attempted to avoid skid marks before. I do wonder if something has been adjusted just recently since the video post from Mark Rober?

I've had it freak out on tire marks in the road as well. A bit of an edge case that needs to be resolved.
