Any drivers experienced the middle finger by ICE truck drivers? Today I got a double whammy of the bird + a thumbs down. I really wonder how they would be if I was parked and we were both outside of our cars.

Note: I am one of the few FS CTs in northern Idaho.
Day 2 of owning the CT, we got flipped our first middle finger. But this was after a loooong string of smiles, double finger guns, thumbs ups, hands over mouths, dropped jaws, rubber necks, nods, jumps, hasty grabs for phones, etc.

We laughed it off. I put the middle fingers in the same bucket as everything else: "reactions". I've been so tired lately of all these frankly-boring-looking cars that garner no reaction at all. I love that the truck snaps some people out. I hope it inspires other auto makers to not just copy pasta each others design year over year to create incestuous, invisible slop.

...maybe that's a bit extreme, but whatever, surprise me auto-makers!! I flippin' love our Cybertruck. Middle fingers and all.

My favs are mid to late 70's husband and wife duos getting the mail. They stand like statues.
Drive across middle of Iowa in farm country on two lanes. So much fun. A few birds are always great to see. As long as ya laugh it's always fun.

Me, in my mind, I flip my middle finger on big oil, the Saudis, big-bonus CEO's of big oil still getting corporate subsidies off my taxes even with their obscene profits.

And too on ignorant folks who blame someone else for high gas prices when oil industry produce oil at $23 a barrell and sell them at $87/barrel.

Having an EV indeed feels liberating.
