Have you updated your address recently?

I realized with the discussion today that my address seems to have been lost on my Tesla Account. So I added it back in.

I have ordered things, so I know it was there before, but I am not sure when it got lost.

People without addresses are being skipped. That seems certain. Don't know if fixing this will fix that, but... There will be more rounds of invites to configure, so... Hopefully they take new snapshots of the database.

Anyone else find their account is missing information?

My address has remained the same since my reservation was placed.

I live in Louisiana, and the state happens to have a ban on vehicle manufacturers selling direct to Louisiana residents. ($&@!!).

I know that Tesla has the option of coming to the factory and picking it up in person which looks like my best option
But one of my other options was to change my account address to my parents address in Texas.

After some basic research on that option, I realized that it would trigger some tax, title, and license confusion.

On top of that, I already have a custom personalized license plate ready for my CT.

I KNOW that I am going to get skipped in line simply because I have a Louisiana address, however, I think I’m just going to nest right here with my LA address and wait till this egg hatches. No change of address here.

I've changed my address since I made my reservation, but it was from one Texas address to another in the same town (and it was back in 2020). Just checked, and my account still shows the new one as my contact address.

I think Tesla may just be doing random lotteries within groups of RNs, even for those living in CA or TX. I'm seeing people who *should* be way behind me (based on what we think we know about how invitations work) get order confirmations, while people who should be ahead of me still haven't heard anything.

As soon as I logged into my Tesla account and updated address on my profile, I received a txt message a minute apart, offering a $1,000 discount on other models while I am waiting for my turn on the CT.

Coincident or real-time marketing?!!! Very Creepy!!!

I am a Low Res # in CA. Did not have my address filled in. Just added it. Will post if I now get a config email. LOL, I intend to decline anyway.

OMG, I just checked, and my address was blank. Which is odd, since I've purchased from the store before, but I guess that's a different database, hmmph.
