How long can I wait to not perform the first task in the app for my 59K cybertruck and not lose my reservation?

Stay on task. Few care about a $250 deposit. The question is, if you do not start a task in the app can you hold your ability to purchase a 59k cybertruck indefinitely? If not, how long until Tesla cancels it for you. We may not have an answer and it very well may be at tesla's discretion in the future.

Ya kinda answered your own question. It’s up to Tesla at somepoint they will consider you not a serious buyer and cancel the order, I’d guess 30-90 days, but definitely before 180 days.

Probably should have added more context / reworded- I was really referring to Telsa having to refund the deposit if they cancel the order vs keeping the deposit if the purchaser cancels. I'm guessing they'd probably prefer to keep the money sitting in their bank account, so they may let the order linger for quite some time. Definitely losing the $250 deposit is less important than missing out on the $59K price to most of us.
