Is anyone else unable to get the HVAC to blow air to left of the steering wheel or near the window of the front passenger seat?
After my latest 2500 trip, my family found it extremely warm and notice there was no way to direct air to outsider parts of the cabin. This caused our arms to become very warm with the mid day sun.
I asked a few friends that have Y/3s and they don’t experience this restriction. Any thoughts?
( I’m expecting it is a software issue. My 2017 MS took almost 2 years before the HVAC had the same performance as an ICE car.)

Tesla Cybertruck HVAC - Not providing air to either front side windows m3_airwav

The vents are adjusted on-screen, both horizontally and vertically.

Note that on my Cybertruck, the driver's Airwave module is defective and I cannot adjust horizontally, even though it appears on the screen. I didn't even really notice until I saw the alert in the Service Menu. (I'll have it repaired eventually, but it requires removing the whole IP, uugh.)

Right. Using these controls turns out to be able to direct air flow towards the windows. Even though it shows to be directed towards it on the screen.

Hasn't been a problem for me, just adjust the vents.
I normally keep the airflow in a narrow stream at my lower chest.

I started a similar post and then saw this one afterward.

I've only had my CT for 2 weeks, but since the 2024.20.7 update, the FRONT PASSENGER vents will no longer move up or down. They still move left/right, but the air is "stuck" in the center as far as up/down. All the other vents in the truck appear to be adjusting just fine.

Don't know if this was due to the update, or if it's just an issue with my new truck. I've scheduled a service appointment, but would be curious to know if others are seeing the same issue?

It is odd that the release notes for this version call out HVAC improvements, so I'm just hoping it's a software bug that was introduced with the update.

I'd suggest waiting for the next update and if that doesn't fix the problem, create a Service Request.
Of course you could go ahead and create the Service Request now and cancel it if it gets fixed.

I have a service appointment on Monday and will have them take a look. Once I get their feedback, I’ll update the thread. ??

UPDATE: Just received 2024.20.9 update and it cured the problem! The vents are working as expected now :). Hope everyone else has the same good luck!

I spoke too soon. Right after the upgrade, it worked fine. Left the truck, came back 30 minutes later, and the passenger vents have reset to the center position (even though the display shows that they should be in an upward direction), and will not move :-(. So I've made a new service appointment for next Thursday.
