never a car or truck person-most people thought it was a prank but I love the design. Early reservation holder but the size is way too Big. Now, Tesla's best selling vehicle MY was Elon-gated with 7 inches-I hope Cybertruck will be reduced by 7 inches-then the amazing machine will be Superlative.
I think the size is fine but I am a big guy And it doesn't drive like a big truck For me. Sept 5 is my anniversary. And it is the best multipurpose vehicle. It more than a truck .

My lifetime efficiency is 420Wh/mi. It definitely drops at higher speeds, but even with the 85MPH limits here in TX I've never seen the range dip more than about 20% from typical (although I am not towing anything).
My lifetime efficiency is 496 Wh/mi....although I had some heavier rims/winter tires on it from December through June. But it looks as though I spend the majority of my time between 65-75MPH.

Tesla Cybertruck I’ve never felt this way… D4D9177C-8307-498A-A90E-BB36509B6856_4_5005_c

Being a contractor I own an F-150, F-250, F-350 and a F-450 Trucks. The F-350 was always my baby always spotless. BUT THEN I BOUGHT A CYBER BEAST!!!! By far it has been the best and most fun truck I've ever owned. No i don't use it as a work truck but can if I needed to. Being able to drive it at hwy speeds and have it completely quiet inside is great. Being able to speed up and pass cars and trucks on the hwy is just instantaneously quick. Nothing better than a fast truck without the loud exhaust. Only a few things would make it better, they should have included Starlink, and the roof could have been a solar panel for extra miles. For people who have never driven electric vehicles you need to go try one. After buying the Cyber Truck i also bought a new Model Y for the wife

For me as well! I tell everyone if I weren’t an old lady, I would’ve had 4 kids until I got mine.🤣🤣
A good friend of mine HATED the Cybertruck. She's 73 and she just thought it was ridiculous, stupid, waste of money and just hated it. Last month I drove up to her house and had her drive mine. Later we put in FSD and yelled out to me and my girl: "It's so exciting!!! I love it
I want one" ... "OMG my nipples are hard" We all cracked up... works every time.

...Long term Ford owner here... I've had everything from F-150 - F450 Pickups (The 450 had the tightest turning radius of them all thanks to that monobeam frontend... But, I digress)

Been driving Ford trucks since 1995. My last truck was a Maverick and if some cosmic force took away Cybertrucks, the Ford Maverick will be my vehicle of choice. Just like the Cybertruck, people are quick to poo-poo it as "not a truck" but it was. We fight this battle with the CT as well.

- Maverick is a great size for everyday commuting and weekend projects
- Most comfortable truck I've driven (6'3" and I typically buy higher end)
- Super easy to get things in/out of the bed
- Second best ride in a truck. Fluffy wins that battle for sure.
- $450 tonneau cover was super easy to flip open and kept the bed dry
- Honestly, Ford 360 Copilot isn't even in the same universe as FSD... BUT, it was good enough to keep my Maverick in her lane and at the right speeds and would change lanes and such... on the highways anyway.
- The Maverick was just fun to drive... not sure why. It surely wasn't very quick.
- I know it's not typical, but I averaged just over 48 mph for the 10,000 that I had it before painfully letting her go for my Cybertruck.

There are still days I miss little Mav... I'm not sentimental and surely not for a vehicle. I've had 40+ at this point and Mav is the ONLY vehicle I felt bad about letting go.

I know this is a Cybertruck forum. I just want to keep perspective. We expect others to see the value in our choice, we should also see value in theirs.

Oh, just before I had the Maverick, I had an F-150 Extended cab with the 6' bed... almost identical in external measurements. Like, within an inch or two everywhere.
Moved from '17 Raptor (loved the look, hated the drive) to '21 TRX (loved everything except single digit mpg) to Cyberbeast, and each change was a material upgrade, including in terms of speed, quality and joy to drive.

I still miss the throaty roar of my TRX, but don't miss ducking reflexively ever time I back into my garage or stopping at Buc-ees 2-3x/week. We literally had to cut off some decorative trim at the top of the garage door so it would fit. Cybertruck fits perfectly.

Did the same thing in reverse. Bought my wife the Model Y and after driving it home, I had to test drive the Cybertruck…..and well, I guess that’s why I’m now a part of this support group.
Have you done any mods to the Y yet?
I was installing a auto Frunk but having issue with the latch not lining up

Nothing yet. Not planning to do too much, wife will yell at me. I would like to find a fridge that would fit in the MY frunk ( I can install the 12v cigarette kit), and then pull it out and use it in the back seat of the CT. Or, I buy the nice Cybergear console fridge, and get a separate fridge for the MY. We would use it a lot more in the MY for kids sports/outings.

I just looked up the power frunk for the MY, now I am interested. I am interested to hear about your latch issues.

I looked at mine today and just thanked God for it. I said to Him, it's an incredible piece of machinery and i can't believe i have it, thank you!" God loves us just like we love our children, but more.

When you say fun truck does it sound weird. Untill I got my cyber truck last year I never had a fun truck . They were trucks. Not back road carver.

I've done that mod twice now... using Hansshow parts. Not a difficult task once you get the new attachment nipples installed.

I would say you are spot on. I would have only added a set of grab handles so my wife can get into it easier. She can barely move as it is. My folks also would love the handles. I just cannot stop wanting to drive it.

Good point. My wife misses the grab handles as well.
