Because I won’t receive my CT until 2025, when I saw one for rent on Turo… I jumped!
First and foremost, it exceeded all of my expectations. I’ve driven the Models X, Y and 3 and personally I think the Cybertruck is the best vehicle Tesla has ever made.
Second, I’ve done the math and any of you lucky folks that have already received your Cybertruck? If you were willing to rent it out over the next two years of CT shortages… I think you could probably make back every penny you spent on your CT. The owner (who was very nice to rent from) charged me about $470 per day and I didn’t even hesitate. I really wanted to find out what it felt like to drive my future vehicle! I don’t know if there really are 2 million reservations, but I bet there’s a least 1 million. That’s a lot of people like me who are impatiently waiting.
And finally (I am not in business with this guy and he is not a colleague) if any of you in Southern California want to rent a CT and try it out. Here’s the Turo Rental Link and the Link to my YouTube Video about my experience with the CT.

The Cybertruck is totally worth the wait!
