If you want to access the rooftop tent from the bed, our upcoming 110-inch full-length tent will fully cover the top of the camper rack, so you won’t need any ceiling panels like in the bed cap version.

For the lowest range impact, you might prefer the flat panel rack since it doesn’t have a rear hatch door to create extra drag, and it pairs perfectly with our upcoming Z Tent.

The center rear panel can open upward from the bottom to allow rear access to the rooftop tent. This feature is not compatible with the SkyLounge setup.

Just checking - are you talking about this part?

That panel uses hook-and-loop strips to attach to both sides of the 180° awning, so you can easily remove it or peel it back partially to access the Z tent (For our full-length tent, you can enter directly from the bed.)

During rain, you can position the panel forward and tighter, and slightly lower the two rear support poles to create a slope that directs water away.

Hope this helps!

Yep, that’s why we’re calling it the Z Tent for now! This one is about 7 inches tall - not like the upcoming wedge style full-length version, which will be closer to 3 inches. You can leave some bedding inside since it comes with a hybrid foam & air mattress. Super convenient!
