Has anyone shown what options / controls are available from the app? I would be interested to know the following;

  1. Open / Close Frunk
  2. Open / Close Tonneau Cover
  3. Change Suspension Height
  4. Vent Windows
  5. Open a Door. Seems like I had this for my Model 3 at some point.
  6. Turn on / off power to outlets
  7. Bed Lighting Controls

That is all I can think of at the moment.

Can you open

the truck bed gate? ( when you come loaded with bags from the store
the garage door s?

can you set the car to warm up to 70F temp at 7am sharp?

can you summon the CT to location x at set date/time? ( make it vibe from parking to where you are at if distance smaller than .1 mi or so)

can you make out make funny noises at set date/time or triggered by some event?

I hope these come to be before I get my CT

The Model 3 has scheduling capability:

"Touch Schedule, available on both the charging and climate control screens, to set a time when you want your vehicle to be ready to drive (see Scheduled Charging and Scheduled Departure)."
https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/model3/en_us/GUID-F907200E-A619-4A95-A0CF-94E0D03BEBEF.html

The "Summon" feature is a bit sketch at the moment, maybe FSD12 will improve it?

Somebody must have thought on how to open the back gate you reach the car with your hands full with groceries…. like a quasi dad/truck guy 😂

1) You put the loaded bags in the frunk (bags will probably send better in the frunk). The other Tesla already have the ability to open frunk and trunk.

2) Tesla supports that in the cars today. But it isn't really needed. The A/C or Heat comes up to temperature in 30 seconds. This is not you wait 10 minutes ICE!

3) This will require FSD and is a future release. But when FSD Beta becomes available, simple summon to your location may be available.

4) I think that you can still fart on horn!

Tesla has been known for two things, now three. And most people understand just one, being an EV.

The new one is the Cybertruck. It just sits in a category by itself.

The one that most people just don't understand is the Tesla way of doing things. It's really what puts Tesla in a category of it's own.
  • Just a few things:
  • Garage door opens automatically when you arrive home and closes when you leave (just like a refrigerator light)
  • Keyless or fobless entry (now being copied by others)
  • Regular software updates, the vehicle that you buy isn't the same as when you sell it.
  • Play real games, Watch Netflix, sing along to Karaoke
  • Not adverse to take risks
  • Single pane of glass display
  • No visible AC vents
  • Turn signals turn off once you are in the other lane. Yes, it's looking for you to be in a different lane
  • Sentry Mode
  • Dog Mode
  • Ludicrous/Plaid modes
  • Supercharging
  • Fart Mode
  • Easter Eggs
  • A nav system that is actually readable and usable and updates for free
There are hundreds of more things in the vehicles that you won't find in any other vehicle.
