I re-used the OEM factory foam strip and it's been water-tight since, almost 18 months ago.

IMO, the OEM solution is a good solution, but it requires the factory worker to place the strip properly. It is then sandwiched in such a way that it doesn't depend upon the adhesive.
But in the context of the cybertent where that flap has to be removed every time you open it, none of these solutions have worked for me. OEM included.
Any suggestions?

With the YouTube video fix, you can remove the top aero shield anytime you want without disturbing the new rubber seal. Just like you would with the original foam. I haven’t tested it, but it should still work with the Cybertent.

I understand there might be some different parts substituted with the optional Cybertent and I'm not familiar with how they differ. On an original Cybertruck the aluminum trip strip is held down on some threaded risers. If you still have those, they may need to be adjusted a bit up or down (by turning the risers a couple of rotations either way with your fingers) as the height of the risers will affect how the trim fits against the seal. This is true for original Cybertrucks, not sure if they still exist with the tent option.

I've given up, my bed leaks significantly no matter what is done to it. For all you wizards that have made yours waterproof, good job! Mine is and always will be a swimming pool if it rains.
