I was at work for first time today and saw my CT flash the lights once as a guy was near by, i couldnt see how close he was or what he was doing and I did not have any captures on Sentry mode, it was not recording for some reason that entire day. The only recordings I saw were from the previous day.

Was the CT nudged or the door handle touched without a key and thats why it flashed? My CT was at an angle to me behind the window blinds so I couldnt see what interaction took place.

Is it possible you accidentally flashed them with your phone? Otherwise, very strange.

I have seen mine do the same thing. Feels like it does a flash to warn people and if they get close enough it does a recording.

Two reasons it will flash:
1) If someone gets close enough that the cameras think the person is touching the truck
2) if you view the cameras on your phone

#2 I was not aware of until I re-read the manual, but apparently if you are viewing the area around the truck through the phone app, it will flash the lights on the truck so that people know they are being recorded. Not sure that makes sense, but that's what it says!

Sometimes the USB will stop working and you have to re-plug it in.

The motion sensor will go off if someone walks in front of the camera, they don't have to touch the vehicle.
