loosing connection, hardware failure

I have experienced some occasional fallouts of the cellular connection for the car, so apps and navigation dont have connection, this was suddenly permanent yesterday so I went by Tesla that said i needed to schedule a time at the SC as they expect that it is an antenna fault and needs to be done at the SC.... so no Cyber now just a truck ;-(
I have requested the lightbar and hubcaps to be installed as well which they accepted so lets see what happens ;-) all for 0USD

I am getting no connection several times but it comes back. So far.

If you have a hotspot on your phone you could use that until it is fixed.

I just had this yesterday. I first lost Sirius Radio then I tried to launch navigate and had absolutely no response. I would get a "No communication" error message. I could not use FSD or any voice commands. (Cell phone had a strong signal, btw)

It was ALL down for about 30 minutes then came back. So far it seems ok today. This is the first really concerning problem I have had with my CT.

I am curious what was the outcome @65SoYoLO and @Gyzz ? Thanks!

I tried to have the issue troubleshooted by the online support team, but they told me that the car needed to get to the SC for troubleshooting and i needed to record the time for the fallouts so they could analyze. at the SC they ended up changing the TCU (Tele Control Unit) as i recall and now it works flawlessly.
Yes I could share data with mobile or starlink and the car would perform as normal, but they where a little nervous that at some point i would not be able to unlock the car, so recommend to get this started as i had 3-4weeks before any available times at the SC ;-)
