Can you go through an automated car wash with these on?
Since all automated car washes are different and have varying spray pressure, automated car washes are not recommended. Hand wash is fine as long as you use care with pressure washers. You can view and download our Magnetic Wrap Care Guide here.

Here's an idea, since the seams will continue to show on these magnetic covers (love the idea BTW) how about embracing it and go with a Tron effect by adding reflective strips at all the edges. Will make the gaps far less noticeable.

Would it be reasonable to assume that you can get one color on one side and flip them over and have another color on the other side? Also, what happens if you just put the magnetic wrap panels on the bare stainless and leave them?

Magnetic sheets are unidirectional and only bond on the non-colored side. If you apply the magnetic panels to the bare magnetic steel, they work just fine, but the steel surface must be thoroughly cleaned before installation. For winter weather and harsher road conditions where salt is present, we advise pre-treating the Cybertruck stainless steel with a double coat of ProtectaClear to guard against discoloration and corrosion spots which can occur with long-term use. If corrosion spots occur, they can usually be removed with an Iron removal solution, such as IronOut without any abrasive techniques needed on the steel surface.

Ok, I am sold on the product: question…is the 33 piece for the complete truck? also any definition i.e sample between satin white and Gloss white? Trying to get the color closest to my Ford GT which is Diamond white.

Both the 22 piece and 30 piece magnetic wrap kits will cover the entire truck. The difference in piece count simply means more small pieces versus fewer larger pieces. The 30 piece kit is split at the center line of the Cybertruck so you can create a two-tone effect should you buy a second kit in a different color. Gloss white is going to have a shinier surface than satin. Satin has a slight shine whereas matte has little less shine, but matte white is still shinier than, let's say, a piece of white paper, which has no shine whatsoever.

Loving this idea but for some reason the gaps are getting to me. Seeing stainless lines within the colored pieces is a bit cringe (not trying to be disrespectful I mean it in the best way) is there any way to mask the gaps??? Thanks!

Pin stripe vinyl tape solves the problem. There is a pin strip tape available for nearly every color of vinyl we use on our wraps.

Oh nice, do you have a before and after with the pin stripe added for the gaps?
We don't know of anyone who has used it with their magnetic wrap, yet. You would see some seams when very close up, but there would be no exposed stainless steel visible between the panels.
