How does this mount? Why are you selling?

It has L Bracket Mounts. If you have 3090 crossbars like the ones that come with the Mars AG Expedition roof rack, you would connect the awning to those.

I wanted a 270 awning so I got the iKamper one and didn’t want to let this collect dust in my garage and let it go to waste.

The crossbars I have are the two that go over the vault, I don't have the 2 that go over the glass. I was hoping there might be some sort of bracket that attaches to the 2 roof mounting points that this awning would then attach to. Is that possible or must you have the bars or the expedition rack to make it work?

It doesn’t need to mount to those 3090 crossbars nor do you need the expedition rack to make this work on your CT.

As you can see in the L Brackets, there are several slots that you can use to bolt down the awning. You could find a different L bracket if this one doesn’t work for your setup.

The awning weighs about 30lbs, so it’s not necessary to have such an extended L Bracket in my opinion, as opposed to the iKamper one.

You just need to figure out how to bolt down the awning directly to the mounting points and if it’s important for you, how to level it.

For the iKamper 270 awning, if your mars rack doesn’t go all the way to the back of the truck, does the awning cover the truck bed when it’s fully deployed 270?

Yeah partly covers the truck bed.

Thanks for the info, looking at it on the Mars website it doesn't show how the L brackets attach to the 2 mounting points on the roof. I cannot imagine laying the metal L-bracket simply on top of the plastic then having to use some sort of special long screw just to reach the bracket from the recessed mounting points. At a minimum I'd want some sort of stand that goes into the 2 recessed mounting spots to keep that L-bracket from laying on the roof of the car (plastic or glass). When you mounted it, how did you mount it? Do you have any photos showing the mounting points up close?
