Does anyone know if there is a way to set a location based ride height? For example a parking garage at home? I could have sworn in older teslas you could set the air suspension on a model X to drop to a lower setting when at a specific location set in the vehicle. I think even some other manufacturers offer something similar. Especially for lower garages.
I have a set of storage cabinets in my parking garage that sit just above my spot and I may have just messed up my PPF wrap tonight while backing in.
I usually make sure the car is in low level when I arrive but it somehow clipped the top end of the panels and scrapped up my PPF. I know I've backed in while in medium mode before and haven't had issues. Starting to wonder if maybe I was showing someone the truck in high mode earlier tonight and it reverted back when it got under the 25mph threshold again??? Doesn't look super awful and the metal is obviously fine but I imagine there's no way to fix the PPF other than taking off the entire piece and swapping it out.
So defeated at the moment. Ive had the wrap on for less than a week. I'm hoping the installer will be super cool and maybe do it for a reduced price if I decide to swap the piece out. Of course I scrape up the largest most complicated piece. ?
Side note: The truck must have noticed the incursion then lowered as I pushed further back. I thought I felt a tiny nudge as I was backing and stopped really quick but didn't feel or see anything afterwards so I kept reversing. It definitely lowered itself at some point.
*I'll post pics soon
