Hey everyone,

Sharing this here because I know a lot of Cybertruck owners also have other Teslas in the garage, especially Model 3 or Model Y.

With summer heat getting stronger, one of the biggest daily annoyances is coming back to a hot cabin after the car has been parked outside. The screen, dash, steering wheel and seats all take a lot of direct sun through the front windshield.

This fully automatic front windshield sunshade is made for: Model 3, Model 3 Highland ,Model Y , Model Y Juniper

What makes it different from a regular folding sunshade is the built-in one-touch setup. No need to unfold a bulky shade, place it manually, then find somewhere to store it later. It is designed to stay in the car and deploy across the front windshield when needed.

Main benefits:
  • One-touch automatic operation
  • Custom-fit front windshield coverage
  • Helps block harsh sunlight and UV glare
  • Helps reduce cabin heat buildup
  • Protects screen, dash, seats and steering wheel from sun exposure
  • No folding shade taking up cabin space
  • Cleaner daily-use setup than traditional sunshades
It is not a Cybertruck-specific accessory, so I would not call it a CT mod. But for anyone here who also drives a Model 3/Y, or has one in the family, it may be a useful summer upgrade.

Current limited-time deal:

Regular price: $369
Now: $249
Ships from US warehouse

Curious if anyone here has used an automatic windshield sunshade before. I would be interested to hear how it compares long term with the regular foldable ones.

I badly want them to make this for the Cybertruck.
btw, if you’re looking for it and find the manual hanshow version, do not buy, it’s not long enough to cover the whole windshield and clip anywhere apparently and the suction cups are shit. Our friend @Sandman1962 bought some and had to return them because they were of very low quality and functionally useless.
Perhaps he will comment on here with details.

Yes. For me, the manual shade was useless for the Cybertruck. It would not extend enough to cover the windshield, so you couldn’t hook it to anything. Retraction was iffy too. Returned. With the excessive dashboard real estate, a working model seems doable but not this one.

I hope that doesn't activate on its own like the wipers do.
