On Aug 30,2025 I ordered the Swivel Mount Kit Screen Rotating Holder V2 (Original Screen Height) For Cybertruck

Today I installed it and found a problem.
The bracket shown in the picture below can not be installed because it runs into the USB C connector on the back of the display screen.
I had to notch the bracket so that it would fit around the USB C connector. See the second picture.
After notching the bracket the rest of the installation proceeded without problem.

What did you use to cut the metal? I’m game to try! And what dimension is the cut?

That seems like a colossal fail for them. Did they honestly not try install it in a single Cybertruck before shipping?

Well it would absolutely be better if it didn’t need surgery. But I wouldn’t hold my breath for a fix coming soon.

that’s great! I had to heavily modify the bracket but it works and I do like the final result. If it could be raised about two inches that would be perfect.
