What's the approximate range loss when this is installed and empty? It looks fairly aerodynamic. One thing I've been thinking about is how to carry a spare tire if the vault is full and this could be an interesting option. Looks cool, too :)

Well for a small rack like this it’s leaned back and looks like a spoiler It wouldn’t be good foot for a rooftop tent so if you take that out of the equation, then on this type of product in that position, it’s most likely that people will put recovery boards which way about 5 pounds, 2x Rotoax Jugs which would weigh 28 pounds, let’s still leaves another 70 pounds of weight to put up there. Add a pelican case full of recovery gear or BB guns. And what else do you want to put on the roof?

This product will pair great with heavy-duty crossbars three and four on the back with spare tire or rooftop tent, and be easy to remove when not needed.

if you wanna give it a try and give the group an honest review send me a message and I’ll get you a great coupon?
Those are excellent points. I appreciate the thoughtful reply.

I haven't gone on a camping trip in the CT yet, so I am not exactly sure how my setup will be. I need to process what I need in a rack first before committing. I do side work from time to time where I'll need sticks of crown and baseboards, so knowing that I could still use crossbars over the back and keep the Shark Fin look is enticing.

The Sport Rack Paired with this Heavy-duty bars 3-4 set up would be the best way to add spare tire or rooftop tent.

Our initial testers are reporting no noticeable change in range, pretty low and swept back.

Love the design. Very tempted. For me, it would serve to carry a Starlink and some recovery gear.
A solar panel that could sustain my 12v needs like interior goodies, fridge and Starlink while the car is plugged in and the outlets are disabled would be nice too. Could also use that to run a power station for camping so that the truck can actually sleep and not burn miles out in the boonies. I’m guessing you could fit about 800w of panel on there without much difficulty.

Just bought a cybertent with my FS credit (been waiting a long time for it to come back in stock) but it hasn’t been installed yet.
Would this thing Pose any problem?
I ask because there are pokey looking bits pointing towards roughly where I’m trying to put an inflatable tent. Seems worrisome intuitively.
Hard for me to visualize two things I haven’t seen in person and how they work together so maybe it’s a complete non-issue. Thought I’d ask if this has been tried though.

Adding all of those items on the sport rack would be easy and well suited for them. They both look very close, not 100% sure.

Anybody with a cyber tent have a photo of the top of the tent where it meets the moon roof?
