New HALODISC 2 Wheel Covers from HALOBLK installed

I like the covers, nice look but still need more info. Their website was wonky this morning, got a "404" error on the "cybertruck poll page".
-Pricing?
-Would like to see a video of the installation process.
-What material are they constructed of?
-Are they only in contact with the rim and not touching the tires?

Where did you get that?

To answer your questions:
- I'm going to guess they'll release between the $270-300 price range. Just like their other sets.
- I may post a video of that process when I get back from my roadtrip
- I didn't make note of the material, but everything seems VERY well constructed. I've already logged 2476 miles since Friday and they're still intact and SOLID
- They're only in contact with the wheels, not touching the tires
- I got the "Not for everybody" decal from Adro. It's very fitting on the Cybertruck

They look damn good on your CT!

I had a set of the haloblk covers on 21” arachnids on my MSP. Hard to gauge what the actual effect on efficiency was, my estimate is 1-3% better. I would guess they would perform similar to OEM covers on the CT.

I’m about to order the EVBase ones as they’re supposed to pop on vs the center locks of the haloblk. While the haloblk install isn’t hard, it’s just kind of a PITA to adjust tire pressure. However, Haloblk has a lot more design options, and I believe you can order them blank as well. I’d love to do a mesh wheel pattern like a BBS aero disc.

It's hard to tell about the efficiency as well. I'll need to take these on a roadtrip to Florida to compare it with a trip I did without them on.

A good idea would be covers with a small door to the air valve. Taking the covers off needing tools would be a pain.

since it’s plastic material, don’t know how hard it would be to dremel a cutout at the valve stem.

Love how these look. Strange that haloblk doesn't advertise these as fitting the cyber. Do you have a link for the covers you got?

They have been testing them or were a few months back. I talk to one of the guys I met at sema in 24 .

Companies give products to people for testing. It's not very secretive. I do this for a few companies. They offer it online or they reach out to people if they have a social media following.
