I got the temporary registration in the mail today to move the four year-old personalized plates onto the cyber truck that used to be on my Jeep since 2020. Now I should get brand new reprints of the same plate in the next month or two. I would like to publicly again say a giant FU, or maybe it’s congratulations, to the person who beat me to see CYBRTRK.

Well you both beat me.
I tried to get CYBRTRK & CYBRTRC and both were taken. You both acted faster than me. It’s ok, I like my TLSA CT.
But I do like both of yours better.
Maybe CYBRTRK will show up on Sat.

I fascinated to see who turns up. I saw on twitter that someone rented a Cybertruck on Turo to come with. We should have printed up t shirts! I also saw on twitter than the guy who runs an NJ Tesla club was mentioning it to his 6k members.

We could be raided by the eb police for not having a permit; or 3 of us could show up or anything in between!!!

But that’s what happens when you’re late. Even though I had the best excuse!
I was great to put faces to names, and chat with the Brotherhood of the Truck. ?
Nice to meet Sam, Lenny, Chris, Jerry, and others who braved the elements.
Excellent looking CT’s gentleman!!
Lots to absorb for me as THIS is my first Tesla, and loving it. I made a great choice. Just finished weatherproofing and installing my mobile connector.
Now I have charging capabilities at home. ??
But I can’t get the CT to connect to WiFi.
It sees my network, but doesn’t like the correct pw that I enter. Connection fails.
Nothing helpful in the manual. This is my area of expertise. I was the Senior Network Engineer at Comcast supporting NJ, PA, and DE. I kept over a million subscribers up and routing to/from the Internet. I’ll figure this out, hopefully.

Did it connect before? Did you move anything in the house around the house that might be blocking or no longer reflecting the signal? Did you try flipping the truck around in different orientations?

Getting that first handshake done is the hardest, or after it's lost its token. Which a network engineer should know, but sometimes depends on lowly techs like me to figure out ^-^

That's why my spouse always says, 'here, you fix it'. She gets paid the big bucks to do that.

Great meeting you as well, and your CT looked great fresh from the SC. Let’s plan another meet up very soon.

regarding the WiFi, mine only connects in certain spots in my driveway, and I believe it’s because of the location and distance to the router. Try to move the WiFi router closer to the truck, or even consider get a second router for greater WiFi Coverage.

Another thing to try temporarily is to have it connect to your mobile hot spot to make sure it can connect to something successfully. I have eero mesh routers and one of them is in the garage.
