Ordered Reviver plate for $699. They charge an annual fee after 60 days, but you can choose not to pay that fee and the customization can't be changed until you get back on a plan. Expensive, but the only way you can avoid the blue plate.

Glad you posted this because I want an RPlate for my CB when I eventually get it and I was worried about needing a 12v step down from 48v to make it work and if installers would be able to do it.

Was anything unusual required for the installation of the Reviver license plate on the 48v wiring of the CT/CB?

It has a 5yr battery that's replaceable. No wiring needed.

I see. You went with the battery version and didn't have to deal with hardwiring. Not an option I'm interested in so I'll have to wait and see what happens when people want to use the hardwired version. Thanks for the clarification.
