There aren't any gasoline trucks with 500 mile range either
Actually there are. The gasoline F-150 now comes with a 36-gallon tank as a standard feature*. It's not difficult to get 600-700 miles of highway range (without towing). Some people have reported that they can get even more, if they drive carefully.

And the tank doesn't use up any space in the bed. Neither does the spare tire (which is also a standard feature).

*Full disclosure: one F-150 configuration, the regular cab with 6.5' bed, can only fit a 23-gallon tank. But those are only a small fraction of F-150 sales.

Don’t need a range extender, but range anxiety is real.

Anxiety of seeing a charging point on your onboard map, decided to skip. Then pulling up to next charger just to find out the whole system is down for unscheduled maintenance and the onboard map didn’t update status.

Check in a hotel or call a flatbed.

I like them. They look like a Rivian without the goofy headlights. I would be a Rivian owner if it wasnt for those headlights.
Thank You, If it wouldn't have been for those Gumby headlights. I would not have waited for the CT. I love Tesla, but Always thought the Rivian looked good, until you got around to the front. When I saw the Amazon Trucks made by Rivian, with round headlights, I was like what the hell.

one F-150 configuration, the regular cab with 6.5' bed, can only fit a 23-gallon tank. But those are only a small fraction of F-150 sales.
Citation needed.
There are currently six possible F-150 cab/bed configurations:

Regular cab (two doors): 6.5' or 8' bed
Super cab (four doors, but two are small): 6.5' or 8' bed
Crew cab (four doors): 5.5' or 6.5' bed

All of these configurations now come standard with 36-gallon gas tanks, except for the shortest wheelbase option, which is the Regular cab with 6.5' bed. And the reality is that the old-school Regular, two-door cab is almost extinct, except on commercial vehicles.

Ford doesn't provide the numbers. So I went to cars.com and searched for new 2024 F-150s for sale nationwide, using the filter for "Door Count". The results:

68,847 total New 2024 F-150s for sale
66,793 with four doors (97.0 %)
2,054 with two doors (3.0 %)

So Regular cabs represent only 3 % of the new 2024 F-150s currently on sale. And probably most of those have the longer 8' bed -- because the primary reason to have a smaller cab is so you can have a longer bed. However, cars.com does not have a filter for "bed length". So let's just assume that about half of those Regular cabs have the shorter 6.5' beds.

In that case, new F-150s with Regular cabs, 6.5' beds, and 23-gallon gas tanks are around 1-2% of currently available inventory. All other new F-150s (or 98-99%) will have 36-gallon tanks as a standard feature.

Note that the original Scout Terra pickup had a two-door cab. The new electric Scout Terra pickup will have ... a four-door cab.

And all other currently available electric pickups -- including those made by Tesla, Rivian, Ford, and GM -- also have four-door cabs. Even if dinky little trucks like the Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz get electrified in the future, you should expect them to have four-door cabs. That is the state of the market today.
