these are the stories/tales/anecdotes people can't digest/fathom but you got the pictures & videos. I mess up my friends, neighbors & co workers here in Colorado who drive far into the wild that they think they love Nature but knowingly or unknowingly destroying it with their tail pipes. Cybertruck proves where the flags rightly belongs. ?
It's also really cool to move through nature quietly. Even snuck up on a moose once, unfortunately it ran across my view in a way that the dashcam didn't catch it. Was in Rampart.

Great write up! Just added this trail to my list.

Do you have any underbody protection?

Have you been on Red cone yet?
No underbody protection, but looking forward to getting the official kit which is supposed to release in the next month!

And yes, I've done Red Cone. Officially the first Cybertruck to conquer Red Cone. I did it last year and have the video here to prove it :)

It did struggle with the clearance over the gatekeeper, so I will wait to do it again once I have the armor.

Not surprised the Duratracs did well here. I think stock tires would have a bit harder time.

Looks like the trail removed a front wheel fairing for you at some point. I think we're instructed to remove those for better clearance on trail.
I am on my fourth set of wheel fairings. I let nature remove them for me lol.

I will not be replacing the back ones this time as the official Tesla armor deletes them anyway.

Good catch. I think that front right one is VERY loose in the "wheel in the air" picture near the beginning of this very nicely detailed report.

OP, looked like you had a great time. Great trail. Great camera work.

For any drone pilots out there... While drone use in National Parks is prohibited, use IS permitted in National Forests like White River National Forest where Mcallister Gulch is located. Always be mindful.
Yeah I'm on my fourth set of wheel fairings lol. Many lost to offroad boulder fields!

Fake story. Everyone knows the Cybertruck is incapable off-road! ?

Ha-ha! I love watching peoples jaws drop when they finally reach the top of a challenging trail in their modified Jeep or Toyota and see a new-looking Cybertruck, already there, shining in the sun right through the mud and dust.

A couple of weeks ago I passed a Subaru parked just downhill of one of the most difficult sections of an alpine trail. Later I passed the owners of the Subaru as they were hiking down the trail back to their car that they didn't have enough ground clearance to make it up. They stood to the side of the steep trail to let me pass and as I quietly climbed by with perfect traction I gave them a friendly wave of acknowledgement which they begrudgingly returned as if they didn't want to, but couldn't stop themselves.
The expressions of people on the trail are hilarious. Most are impressed once they see it in action.

From what I could see, the stock AT tires would have been fine there, I might have engaged the rear locker for (at least) that one steep section in the video. The Duratracs are generally a bit better, but it's not a night and day difference on most surfaces.
Pretty much agree with this. I did a lot of offroading last year with the AT's, but I do notice a step up in traction with the DuraTracs. Plus they look beefier and handled better in the snow, so they're staying on full time for me.

Incredible trip and photos, but my real question is HOW DOES YOUR WIPER NOT CAUSE STREAKS?! My current dilemma ?
Well to be honest, I am on my second wiper now. Just got it replaced in April. It also totally depends on the type of dirt/dust, as I've found out.
