Order 59K Cybertruck as a hedge?

Trying to consider $250 deposit to hedge against March 31st FSD transfer deadline. This essentially extends it potentially into the June delivery period. Anyone think of other hedging points to the deposit. What I would actually like to transfer FSD to is a Cybercab.

I'd say an even bigger hedge is the price...and
I'm going to transfer FSD from our HW3 MY.
This truck is a no-brainer for us.

FSD transfer deadline is the end of March.
People who have done this FSD transfer deal have told me you have to wait till both cars are in your possession to make the transfer.
Anyone care to clarify if it’s going to even be possible to transfer FSD to one of these and how?

I believe all you have to do is PLACE your order for a new Tesla by 3/31/2026.

What leads you to BELIEVE that? I’ve been a Tesla customer for many years and logical assumptions are often a mistake with them. It has to be explicitly spelled out.

The transfer is clear.

The ability to transfer to a Cybercab is a joke.

Hopefully they will allow HW3 people the ability to transfer after March 31st in lieu some sort hardware retrofit.

uhhh….also I dont think you can transfer FSD to a cybercab. the cybercab is SD off of the factory line. I dont believe it even has a steering wheel.
