Sentry mode is nothing but a deterrent. If you have someone on video vandalizing your vehicle the cops literally don't care about it unless you have something like a license plate number to give them.

Even if someone was arrested for the property damage the Denver county DA would have them out immediately and likely drop the charges.

If the cops don't do anything about it, the DA can't drop the charges because no charges would be brought!

Also, again, you're getting into politics and spreading malicious and frankly, untrue memes.

I think Austin is just a different situation. There are massive numbers of auto thefts, vandalism and break-ins in Denver and only a tiny fraction are followed up on.

I believe in 2023 it was something like 13,000 thefts with around 1,000 arrests and fewer prosecutions.

Guess I'll make my decision a little closer to the departure date. Worst case I can leave my expensive new ride in my garage and take an Uber.

@canyoncarver Yeah... I wouldn't park at the airport unless you do as others say and go to more private parking. Hell, I won't even park my CT at the grocery store for this reason.

Its sad we are at this point with our cars and can't enjoy then due to the politics of America. I'm with you man...

My auto premium skyrocketed a year ago and the broker's explanation for it was that Denver is now #1 or #2 nationally in auto theft, auto break in and vandalism.

It occurs to me that DIA does have those "only EV" parking spaces up closer to the entrances in the parking garage.... probably a little less likely someone will do something stupid if vehicle is in a more conspicuous location... but also no guarantee a spot would be available.
