I am West of Olympia, Wa, the electrical company that is installing the unit is coming from Vancouver, Wa which is 2 hours away.
I have been approved to have the PowerShare installed at my house.
I know it is costly, but we are doing it anyways.
I have posted the breakdown below.
I thought Tesla was sending the unit to the electrical company that is going to be installing it, but I got a UPS notice yesterday that it is being sent directly to me.

I already have a 50 amp in my shop to use the mobile charging on.

Permit - $250.00

Permits as required by local jurisdiction.

Site engineering and mapping schematics.

Permit application submission (in person or online).

City/County fees.

Contractor time for onsite inspections, as required.

Tesla Supplied Gateway - Heavy Loads Backup - $4,180.00

Install a Tesla supplied gateway within 5 feet of the main panel.

This includes relocating the heavy loads from the panel within 5 feet.

Generally, this will include lights, refrigerator, WIFI, convenience outlets, and an air conditioner or oven.

Your Certified Installer will walk you through which circuits will be backed up before the installation starts.

Tesla Universal Wall Connector - up to 10 Feet- $688.75

Installation of a Tesla supplied Tesla universal wall connector within 10 feet of the panel.

This includes the wiring to communicate with the gateway.

Since I dont have a cyberbeast, (Tesla pays up to $4,000.00) they dont pay any of the cost.
All out of my pocket.

Thanks for the info. I'm a bit north of Tacoma, and figure it'll be about the same. Does the gateway have spots for the relocated loads, or do they also need to install a new panel for the relocated loads?

I might be space-challenged if they need to put a new panel in, inside.

Can I also ask when you got contacted by the install company? I was approved for powershare back in January, but haven't taken possession of my truck yet.

There was no mention of installing a new panel.
June 18th when the installing company contacted me.

I posted this on another thread but hope it might be helpful here also. I just got my Powershare install estimate here in Albuquerque today (7/9/24). I am #4 of 11 customers currently lined up for it in the area. Their estimate is $5668 for labor & permits. See below. The equipment would ship to my home via the Tesla coupon use. So total Powershare & HPWC via coupon ($2500) and labor ($5668) = $8168 invested

One could argue the coupon was “free” or conversely that we paid for it when we bought the truck - whatever floats your boat. In any case, my labor will be $5668

I will say that my home layout probably presents some minor challenges not seen in a smaller home or a home where most of the equipment can be co-located. My fuse panel box is inside my home, about 60’ ( 120 feet of wire ) from the Main and current wall charger location. So there’s that “distance” expense, which involves either running Nomex in the crawl space above the garage or conduit along the garage ceiling.

My estimate excludes heavy use, AC, and the garage chest freezer. Only "light loads backup" (unlike the OP's estimate), hence my disappointment. Tesla themselves estimate $2500-$3000 for installation of Powerwall on their website so $5668 is, IMO, outside my budget constraints.

Here in ABQ, we lose power 1-3 times a year for 60 seconds. That’s been my own personal experience anyway over 3.5 years. I don’t think the juice is worth the squeeze for me, given my personal XP, use case and risk tolerances. I’ll spend the coupon on the silly stuff they have in the Tesla shop instead and call it done. The tech is way cool, and I wish the OP luck with his install! :)
