Robruok - just wanted to confirm that your system is still working well. We're having an additional/parallel solar system being installed today, and from what I understand they can land the solar in the Powershare Gateway instead of the panel. From what I read in a different thread that's what you did, which is what enabled you to have your solar function during daylight hours and power your house & Cybertruck during an outage where it's disconnected from the grid. Do I have that right?
I am interested in the answer to this question as well.
I signed an agreement with a solar company in my area this last weekend and am trying to ensure I pick all the right hardware needed.
Ideally I want everything to work seamlessly through the Tesla app and to have the CT work as a battery backup in the event of an outage while also still being able to to use solar when there is sun. So far I know we need the Powershare Gateway. Also getting a SPAN panel upgrade to independently manage circuits. Not sure what else to look out for though.
