Proximity sensing in close spaces

While the CT tracks the wheels on the screen, there is no close proximity monitoring. When the CT is within 6” or less to the fender and bumper there is no way of knowing that the bumper is about to hit the object. This is especially difficult in the dark. Trying to get Tesla to see if this a common occurrence and if we can get marker lines for the edges of vehicles when in close proximity to colliding. Is anyone else experiencing this or am I not reading the input on my screen correctly.

Yes, this will be included with Tesla vision which is part of the FSD package. For now I just run the front bumper camera when parking

Thanks for the response. I think I have to avoid going around my wall when its dark for now.

Yup I think FSD will solve this, unfortunately for my CT this bit me last weekend when backing in my garage which I've done a 100 times. It is a narrow fit, but in the dark the passenger rear bumper squeezed up against the side of my garage door. Only the plastic bumper was scratched and not any of the metal which is good I suppose. Still bugs me that my CT w/ a little over 2k miles has a scratch about 6 inches long on the side of the bumer though!

This comes with Tesla Vision which is a big part of FSD.

I figured that it will come w FSD, but really miss it and Autopilot. I hope it rolls out soon.
