The video didn't show when he flipped me off because he was in the blind spot between front and right cameras.

In the first video when I saw him for no reason trying to use his shopping cart to charge/ramp my CT, I stopped. He then flipped me off.

In the second video, I was watching him thru the right side mirror and saw him hit my CT. I stopped in a moment but then drove away because I think he already hurt his hand. He did say something after that but there no audio from recording.

I would say the CT is pretty big and you were pretty close, like when a semi drives past you really close you pucker your B-hole. I’d probably be annoyed too.

I did stop. I was already all the way to the left. You can see he was from the beginning trying to use his shopping cart to hit my truck.

There’s a good 4 ft between the edge of the CT and the parking spots. Dude intentionally walked within arms to reach to hit it.

Spitting on a car isn’t a crime unless the owner suffers some kind of monetary damage, so police will probably shrug him off. They won’t be agreeing with this person necessarily, there just isn’t a crime for them to investigate.

Sorry don't agree, they have legs and they can easily move, the truck was clearly stopped so the logical thing as a pedestrian is to move aside. But then who has common sense these days.

This is unfortunately true, they will not do anything. I have posted the video on the local nextdoor and patch websites to get more traction (although some of the comments about Tesla are laughable), it used to fun to drive cool and unusual cars, people would genuinely want to know more about a car, those days are few and far between.

Laws vary in severity, but it is indeed illegal to intentionally place your bodily fluids on someone else's personal property.

At the minimum it's disorderly conduct, and actionable. This is exactly why I suggested he not back down, since there will always be people who try to shrug off stuff like this.

I don't agree with 'and you were close', he's on the road driving normally, those people could easily have moved. There was plenty of space.

- and just so you know he hit the car, the driver did not hit them - fact. Getting annoyed is one thing but then taking it a step forward and hitting the car is another level.
