so .......'He was literally as close as could be without contact' is the same as 'contact' , Wow! now I know everything. GTFO. good job you aint a lawyer lol.

On a more serious note though, it seems that my original post offended you in some way, not intended, I guess you have not had someone spit on your car or have someone intentionally hit your car, its frustrating and it may be ok for some to say ignore it, the reality is its plain wrong. But I guess you would be ok with it.
I don’t know how to respond to your statement. Now you’re making shit up, no one lunged at the car. You responded to my message with disagreement and failed to make a coherent point. This is what you get. You also fail at understanding that there is a cause and effect relationship with the CT and pedestrian, hence what happened. Had the CT stayed put or given a wider berth (as I would have done) this would have never happened.

Sure it’s wrong to spit on someone’s car, property, or self, Apparently you should talk about your pain with EM. know, you’re materialistic, life is hard for you.

some of you are ok with destroying each other over petty shit like a car, and I’m tired of trying to fix the aftermath.

Last response regarding this, spent too much time here. Have at it!

edit, lastly; it’s a fkn CT. Supposed to take sledgehammers so you don’t have to. Lmao

In a regular old rental car out of state, my kids were screaming excited to see a CT on the road (we have one at home).

I look to my right and see a woman in a minivan making the “I’m so repulsed I’m going to throw up” face at the Cybertruck. So childish.

I had to laugh because a pure human reaction (kids) and the walking dead (brainwashed TikTok rotten minded) is so stark.

Edit: to be clear… I know its looks are not for everyone… but there’s no way a gag reflex is an actual non-influenced response. That’s a learned behavior specifically trying to make that owner (and their family including kids) feel bad.
It's mental illness. There's no way a grown, mature adult should do that. The internet has royally fucked us over. For some reason, it's worse in US, Canada. I bet in Mexico, crap like this doesn't happen.

That's literally what it is, I've seen some ugly cars in my day and not once did it cross my mind to flip someone off, spit on the car, or blatantly hit the vehicle.

It’s mental illness that’s being further enabled by echo chambers on the Internet. When you read online that vandalizing or spitting on other peoples cars is a thing to do, it feels normal when you do it, even though it would be viewed as absolute despicable behavior by 99.9 percent of the broader population. But when you are consuming content from the most hateful 0.1 percent, your perception may skew.

Yep. I travel a lot for work. Was just in the Philippines. I cannot imagine those people would do anything like what stupid people in America would do. The sense or acts of respect is gone in America. And the thought of minding your own business is gone. Everyone has to have an opinion on something.

I explained to her that we can't become what we hate and she said she won't do that again. Kill them with kindness.
This is the way! Hugs to you and your GF for dealing with this crap. Next time I get hassled I'm going to remember this.

I also said if you are yelling out the window, you could become a tiktok viral video. It's real easy for the person who flipped off and stared down my gf to then post a video of her rebuttal, and say "I was minding my business and this crazy cybertruck lady was yelling at me for no reason!" The only way to make sure that doesn't happen is to not do anything.

Comment: "Your truck is ugly"
Cold reply: "Insulting you would be redundant"

I've had my truck for a whole two days and most public reactions and comments have been negative. It might just be the town I live in though. I'm expected as much and bought the truck anyway because it's the one I wanted.

Jerks should end their days in jail, unfortunately there's not enough jail cells on the planet for that.

That level of enforcement would mean being able to safely walk in any public place at any hour, even in "bad" locations. And it would result in a very polite society.

So it's a tempting wish, even if there are substantial downsides.

Oh, if that Hyundai Santa Fe is the jerk's, run the plates, they're readable.

I don’t understand the rationale behind someone saying the truck can take a sledgehammer, what’s the big deal about someone spitting. It’s less about science and more about disrespect. Same reason as to why urinating on someone’s property is highly disrespectful but having diaper babies in a swimming pool is ok, because urine technically doesn’t have germs. The OP has the right to be mad, but he could have handled differently.

If I were in OP’s position, I would have stayed put the moment I notice someone who shows signs of unhealthy emotions! These type of people are already losers. What’s the point of winning? Stay put and if someone comes to harm you or your family, do what you gotta do to protect yourself.

If he still came to a standstill car and spit on it for no reason, then you get out and deal with it. All you have to do is yell. They will charge on you, and then you can press charges, because he spit on a your car with no fault of yours and tried to assault you when you verbally asked why.

Otherwise, just ignore and stay put. Ignoring someone is one of the worst forms of punishment. That’s why solitary confinement is such a torture! Imagine how this could have played out if you ignored. He would have looked like a loser in front of his kids. Now he is a hero who protected his family from a monster truck made by an evil empire! His kids will continue the legacy! Great! Such a beautiful legacy to leave behind.

If you respond, you are exactly giving them what they are craving desperately - attention! True strength is in extreme resilience. It’s like Hulk - he doesn’t go to war because he knows he will win! Be the Hulk for CT haters.
