Hey everyone! I wanted to share my Cybertruck camping setup with you all. I recently picked up the Joytutus Tent/awning from Amazon for $299.99 and it worked out great. The setup was actually pretty simple and only took me about 15 minutes to get the main tent area setup in the bed. For my bed I used a 50" folding sofa bed so I could have a bit of living area during the day. It only takes 30 seconds to convert the area to a bedroom when it's time to sleep. Overall it was awesome for me and dog to enjoy some nature on the go. Definitely some cozy vibes and I can't wait to do it again. I'll be creating a YouTube video about my camping adventure in a few weeks if anyone is interested in seeing more.

Nice! That looks like a really nice tent. I see it's sold out on Amazon now...
It's been in my list for a couple of months now. It has sold out a few times, and around 2-3 weeks later, it pops back up in stock for a week or so. Get it while it's there.

I haven't bought it because I have a nice 6-8 person ground tent that I really enjoy, and I don't necessarily need this vault tent, except for the fact that the truck self-levels.

I hope they allow for the back window to roll down in the next version so we can get easy access to the cabin AC/Heat.

Have you had it in the rain? I'm wondering how well it sheds water as the first photo looks a little like it might sag at the cab and maybe collect water? Perhaps it's just viewing angle.

I'm also curious why you went with the sofa bed instead of the matching air mattress made by the same company as the tent? Your choice appears to be only 72" long, which would probably be uncomfortable for anyone taller than probably 5'8" or 5'10"?

Price is certainly right - are you happy with the material and build quality?

So it absolutely dumped rain during the night and no leaks at all! The awning collected some water near one of the poles but I just pushed from the bottom to clear it out in the morning.

As for the bed, the dimensions are 50" by 74" so the bed literally fits perfectly in the bed with the tailgate closed. The Tent sits in the bed with the tailgate down so you get some extra space that I used for a small table at my feet. Durning the day I used it couch position for a literal living room feel inside the tent.

Hope that helps

Thanks for sharing, it looks like a roomie set up! Does it come with a bag to hold the tent? If so, could post the picture of the bag?

It did come with a bag but I threw it away. I'm using a 27 gallon plastic tote so I can throw the tent in it without any hassle. I've always found the tent bags are pretty small once you do the initial unpack. It makes camp clean up much easier in the morning when you can just pull the tent down in less than 5 minutes. I use a second tote (same size) to bring all my other camping gear. The sofa mattress, two totes and my cooler fit in the bed w/o any issue.

Thanks for sharing. Did not know a tent at this price level was out there for the Cybertruck. This is perfect for the amount of times I go out and camp. Which is not a lot. My friend and I are placing an order.

My order is in, did those canopy stake poles come with the package? ?

can you also place the tent inside the bed with the rear entrance down and open in case you removed your rear window glass for a/c ducting? Or to see the main screen

The stake poles did come with it and yes, there is a window in the back of the tent so you can see your main screen/inside the cabin.
