I'm leaning towards "no" on this. It's been ignoring school zone signs that it respected previously. And construction zones are mostly ignored too. 120 kmh posted limit and it wants to blow through a 50 zone, with delineators everywhere... 🤦♂️
Even Sloth mode won't slow you down slow enough or...
That's interesting. I haven't had a failure yet, but I did see the same "charging stopped" error several times over a week or two. But not since. That was quite a while ago.
I wonder if that was a hint that failure had begun, but they have somehow slowed or masked it in software? Now I'm curious.
LOL, I actually use Morse on a regular basis, but that's out of interest and nostalgia, not necessity.
I intend to add an actual 'shortwave radio' to my truck eventually. But the antenna is huge and not really good to have attached all the time... (seriously).
Well, I don't have a horse in the race, so I don't really care if it passes or not. And frankly, given it's regressive, archaic and stupid, I naturally assumed it would pass. 😉
Pretty much anything Steely Dan / Donald Fagen.
A great listening experience that is even better with video is Peter Gabriel - Growing Up Live.
Red Rain (),
Sky Blue (), etc.
It's a great Blu-ray I enjoy using to shake my house with regularly. I listen on the road using Tidal, but I...
No, it's not dead, but it's dying. The last ones standing will likely be the ones with the nutjob content I mentioned, because they're driven by ideology not financial reality. Poor fidelity alone put a stake in the heart of music stations on AM, late '60s, early '70s. FM listenership would...
I'm actually surprised that the haters haven't focused on this... I guess it just confirms they've never actually driven the truck.
FSD really helps with this. The number of times a car goes by on a left sweeper that I hadn't actually seen coming is embarrassingly high. That always reminds me...
I clicked the link. And laughed. And laughed again.
For that price I could put together a much better kit myself, instead of just tossing in my breaker bar, socket, etc., when I'm going somewhere BCAA won't want to find me. I have a second set of wheels and tires, so one is generally strapped...
Hilarious. Roll up on the exact opposite of track tires in a vehicle that is the exact opposite of a track car and proceed to school them... without any noise.
The butthurt hate in the YouTube comments is glorious reading... 😂
Did a double take when I read the slips..."hey, I know where that...
For sure.
I did an FSD transfer to a Y. Then hours before delivery, they divulged that it was a Made in China Y. I asked if there was any difference and was told none. But it turned out that the MiC Y's were still built with HW3... for several months... while US-built had HW4. That seems like...
We upgraded to a Y from a 3 when FSD transfer was offered. That was the carrot. When it came time to take delivery, I got a message 'confirming that we were OK with a made in China Y', because that's where demand was forcing them to come from for the Canadian market. I asked if there was any...
in my case (and this has happened a few times in different places), it sees something on the highway (part of box, whatever) and swerves around it. Then for the next week or two, it will *randomly* decide it needs to follow the swerve path it took that one time, even though the debris has been...
Hmmm. Meshtastic doesn't let you set up specific repeaters does it? I think that was one of the reasons why I went to MeshCore. That and much improved routing capabilities.
My idea of the node outside would be to have it run as a repeater so that your node inside or anywhere nearby would...
If it's just a Meshtastic node that you need to install, why not just build up a small solar node with small panel and integrated antenna and mount it to one of the rack mount points along the edge of the truck? The little Xiao nRF boards Seemed sells are stupidly efficient in standby mode. Even...
