Now that Steer By Wire (SBW) is proven in the CT and reviews seems to be overwhelmingly positive; what does everyone think about Tesla using it in the next versions of their vehicles?

Personally, I think SBW would be a fabulous distinguishing factor for Tesla going forward. It would be interesting if they put SBW out in the Juniper in a couple of months. Also, when they refresh the MS and MX, they should add SBW.

My guess is we will be seeing it in all new models along with the 48v architecture.

Elon said something to the tune of, "It won't be in our existing lineup for a while".

I don't believe the new MY has it, we know the M3 doesn't. There's no current roadmap to refresh the S/X.

I'd bet on the Cybercab having it.

The cybercab is a given since it doesn't have a steering wheel. The next major update will be the Y it will be interesting to see if it gets it. If a new low cost variation or model comes out I'd be willing to bet it has both SBW and 48v.

Agreed. One would think Tesla would try and standardize their assembly lines with 48v so they aren't using different systems for different cars down the road.

Maybe you missed the memo, but the future is autonomous. Tesla won't be making any more new cars. The Cybertruck was the last one. Glad I got one.

Personally, I want to hold off on buying anything new until I find out if that will be adopted by anyone else.

Well there's the roadster and they are still saying something about a less expensive model in 2025 although they have certainly downplayed any new models to not " Osborne" the current models and to sell Elon's autonomous ambitions.
