Since Thursday I’ve had 2 random emergency braking situations as I’m pulling out of parking spaces. The first one I was on FSD, the second one I was pulling out and the brakes hit moments after I started driving. One was under the trees with lots of shadows and a filthy car, the other was in bright sun with a clean car. Nothing to tie the situations together IMO but haven’t seen this before. Anyone else?

Not emergency braking, but my CT tried to take a non existant exit yesterday. Right hand signal turned on and attempted to cross full white line.. Took over at that point, very strange..

Interesting...

On my HW3 Model Y it all of a sudden decided to slow down and pull over. It was around 4am on Sunday with no construction activity. I was driving on a 3 lane highway at around 68MPH, 65MPH zone, no speed drop for construction, in a lane shift due to the construction when another car slowed, and cut cross two lanes to exit. A few seconds later FSD started slowing and pulling over. No beeps sounds or messages. Other than the car that exited, I was the only car in the area.

Wait till you are at speed, 45 mph plus and it chirps the brake and releases instantly,

Tesla’s FSD is maybe trying to give us whiplash?!

CT has been braking VERY hard for small animals.... squirrels and bunnies. Dont get me wrong, if it is safe to do so I think slowing down is good, but this is a pretty hard stop. It also seems to be accelerating very fast from a full stop... small details, but the new update seems to be a step back. I am sure it was the absolute right response to have if it had been a child.

I absolutely hate the stabbing of brakes for a bird flying over, or a skid mark on the road. I’m for small animals, but the car needs to look how close the car is behind before slamming on the brakes, and I mean the tires locked for a bird flying close overhead. If they continue with this avoidance system, I hope they give the option to turn it off. I’m starting to not want to do the updates. Sometimes it seems to take two steps forward, and next update 6 steps back

Interesting: Out of Spec had a pullover incident due to camera frame rate vs headlight frequency issues.

That was a nice stop though but a little too fast
