Range Extender Credit?

When I ordered I also put the $500 down for the range extender. However, now that I am thinking more clearly I am thinking that I probably won’t need it and would rather have the space in the bed. Also, I can always choose this option at a later date if it looks like it would be a useful addition and worth the price. All this to say, has anyone tried to have their range extender reservation applied to the vehicle total or maybe other accessories? I am awaiting a VIN so do not have a delivery specialist. Thanks

Since it isn't expected to be available until later in the year, probably after your vehicle is delivered, you may want to wait until you get a VIN assigned and then you can talk to someone that can probably do something about it.
I don't think that this was a refundable deposit though. You may be able to talk then into transferring it into something that you do want.

I know, and I knew that going in. That’s why I was asking if anyone has tried this instead. It would make sense for them to let you use it toward the vehicle or an accessory if you are not going to convert it. To me this would be a no brainer for a customer but I don’t necessarily expect it. Them supposedly willing to convert FS orders to standard gives me hope that they are looking out for customers and are willing to work with us.
