Original rear center brake lightbar for sale. Unfortunately I can’t access the original estimate Tesla provided anymore but it was about $950.
I had it replaced because my toddler opened tone tailgate from my Apple Watch and it was leaning on my garage door, upon getting home and opening the door the light bar got scratched. You can see in the photos is a single vertical scratch, hard to see from a distance but it’s clearly there up close. I’ve included pics in sunlight as well as lighting in my garage so you can hopefully better see the surface quality. The faint scratches are nearly invisible unless looked at from just the right angle, but nonetheless are there as the material for these light bars seems to be very soft.
Honestly after some time now it’s been sitting in my garage, I would have been fine leaving it instead of dropping 1k on a new replacement but it was done right away so I have this perfectly good lightbar now. It’s fully functional, zero issues otherwise.
There’s the usual wear and tear but the camera works great, red lighting works great, it’s just the scratch as shown in the images. Asking $500 for it, open to other offers. Will ship it very well packaged.
