Hey everyone!

so, I currently use this third party solution:
Foronetry Rear Storage Box for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNMQLFK4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

it works, okay…but I’m looking to see if anyone has possibly come up with another solution. I have three kids that sit in the back so I’m mostly looking to solve for my eldest who sits in the middle.

thank you!
Pic for attention :)

Not to be negative, but it seem too tempting for the middle child to swing his/her feet at it.

I have clek car seats in mine so may not be an ideal solution for you but I use this
https://a.co/d/gewSUDN
Wedges nicely between the seats and is rock solid. Doesn’t take up a lot of space and can be put away in the seat pocket when not in use which actually makes it useful for storing bottled drinks with caps too. And the clipboard part is both surprisingly solid and surprisingly solid. My daughter draws on it all the time.
I have two of those chinesium ones you’re using on the floor and I hate them. I thought the little mechanism for securing them to the seat rails was pretty clever when I saw the videos from the YouTube shills but they ended up being crap. I even got a replacement and it’s just as crappy especially if you use all weather mats like the ones in every single FS because they heighten the box too much for the clips to be even slightly useful
It moves around on the floor, takes up some of the most valuable utility space in the CT cabin and makes the USB’s a PITA to use. Plus, who wants to reach down with a seatbelt for a drink on the ground! And in a car seat? Pointless. Only saving grace is they have nice sized trash can with a relatively workable click lid.

I think if someone were to make a door insert for those big rear door pockets that included a cup holder that would probably be pretty useful.
I know some people use those armrests that have cup holders in them but they make the armrest too high and look super tacky in my opinion. Tried one of those too.

I totally see what you mean, thankfully my 9 year old is motivated to have an easy place for her water and less the feet kickery

Post some pics when you try it. I’m sure we’re not the only two people in the world with cybertrucks and children that require restraint devices but also enjoy beverages.
